Our Zero-Telemetry Retention Pledge
Unlike legacy surveillance apps that store years of your child's photos, ambient recordings, and location history on centralized servers to sell to advertising brokers, KinWatch does not store or monetize your private media.
01.Information We Process
- Parent Account Data: Name, email address, and avatar provided via Google Sign-In to verify your parent identity.
- Device Hardware Metadata: Android device model, battery percentage, OS version, and dynamic 6-digit cryptographic pairing PINs.
- Telegram Chat Identifier: Your private Telegram `chat_id` and username used solely to deliver encrypted surveillance alerts.
02.Ephemeral Media Buffering
When you invoke `/snap`, `/screen`, or `/listen`, media is captured on the child phone, streamed through a secure encrypted buffer in ephemeral RAM, delivered directly to your Telegram chat, and immediately erased from memory.
At no point is raw media permanently written to an unencrypted disk or persistent database.
03.COPPA & GDPR Parental Consent Compliance
In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), KinWatch processes child device telemetry solely pursuant to verifiable parental consent. Parents have the full right at any time to delete paired devices, revoke Telegram bot binding, or permanently expunge their account.
